Garage Coffee - January 2023

Founded in 2015 by Luke Underdown, Garage Coffee is a speciality coffee roasters based in the beautiful village of Hoath, just outside of Canterbury, Kent. Owner & Founder Luke identified a gap in the market to bring great coffee to the people of Kent, and started trading at local markets and events to build the Garage brand.

By 2016, Garage Coffee had gained a significant following and started to supply some wonderful hospitality businesses across the county.
In 2017, Garage Coffee opened it's flagship shop and training room in the heart of Canterbury and has now built a team making great coffee and sharing the same vision across our shops in Canterbury, Whitstable and Margate!

Garage roast in small 12kg batches for optimum quality, and only roast specialty grade coffees which are always fully traceable and fairly traded. Since launching, they have been building relationships with farmers, and sourcing coffee from the same farms season after season, with plans to make trips to these farmers in the near future.

The Garage roastery is situated in a converted garage in the beautiful village of Hoath! Their roaster had humbler beginnings- firing up in a disused shipping container, but expansion has meant an upgrade into a transformed garage complete with office and training room.

This lightly roasted Natural coffee from Alta Mogiana, Brazil has been grown in ideal conditions from altitude to perfect rainfall. It has been produced by O'coffee who have a deep commitment to ethics and quality of life of the surrounding community. The chocolate and hazelnut notes give the coffee a rich, smooth flavour with a slightly sweet peachy finish.
