Husband and Wife team Cal and Hayley are the new kids on the block, starting their roastery just over one year ago in October 2021. Recognising they have different strengths, Cal sources, samples and roasts the coffee while Hayley leads
marketing, packaging, design expert and customer services.

Kaku is named after the washing station where the coffee is processed, located in Paliang, it’s the largest coffee producing region in Menglian Dai, Lahu and Va Autonomous County, Yunnan. This washed coffee was grown at 1,600 MASL & has flavours of granny smith apple, lime rind & a finish of chocolate.
