Corban Coffee is a specialty focused roastery at the heart of Sevenoaks, nestled in the beauty of the Kentish countryside. Founded in 2017, Corban Coffee are dedicated to the craft of sourcing, roasting and sharing their passion for coffee.
They strive to build long-term ethical relationships, whilst helping businesses and individuals to discover and enjoy beautiful coffee. They source green beans through importers who demonstrate a high standard in ethical trading and have a positive impact on the livelihoods of the coffee farmers they trade with.
Corban coffee offers a variety of origins and roast to showcase the unique and best flavours in each coffee, allowing them to be enjoyed across a range of brewing methods. Corban use a Loring S7 Nighthawk to roast which uses less gas and boasts less emission than conventional roasters. It also allows them to roast lighter, but still a tasty coffee.
We are delighted to be featuring Corban Coffee on day 17 of Advent with their El Cabro - A Guatemalan coffee produced on La Bolsa farm owned by Jorge in La Libertad. The farm sits between two mountains, which provides a very stable and humid microclimate. This combined with the limestone rich soils provide the coffee with a very unique profile. Notes of sweet cherry, walnut and rich chocolate.
