Neighbourhood Coffee Roasters

Neighbourhood coffee roasters, based in Liverpool, started roasting back in 2014 and helped to change the way the residents of Liverpool experienced coffee. Founders Chris Holloway and Ed Peck pick each variety of green bean themselves and travel widely in order to meet the farmers and select the best quality coffee.

As a result, they know the farmers by name, and only work with those who are committed to producing delicious coffee. As you'd expect, they pay way above the current fair trade prices and as a result, have a flourishing relationship with each farmer who is happy to provide the best coffee as a result.

But, beans are only one part of the speciality coffee equation, and Neighbourhood coffee roasters are obsessed with the craft of roasting. They roast in small batches to unlock the optimum flavour and true character of each coffee.

We are super excited to be featuring Neighbourhood coffee roasters with two of their varieties:

Guatemala
An excellent, fully washed coffee originating from the remote town of San Jose de Lordes in Peru. Grown at 1700-1900 MASL, this quintessential coffee has a delectable flavour profile that will leave you wanting more. Notes of blackberry, sweet jammy plum and a chocolate toffee finish.

Peru
A delicious fruity coffee from a farm called Finca Yulzan in the Huehuetenango region. Pedro Ramirez inherited this farm from his father and his hard work shines through the cup, with a balance of bright acidity and soft fruit sweetness. Expect notes of peach, raspberry and cherry bakewell.
