Wogan Coffee Roasters

Wogan Coffee started out in the heart of Bristol in 1970 and is now in it’s third generation, with one Wogan in Bristol, and the other in London.

The team import exceptional artisan and speciality coffees from sustainable and ethical farms worldwide and are passionate about building a better future for growers and their families and are proud to support the livelihoods of small sustainable speciality farms.

Wogan Coffee understand that making a perfect cup of coffee doesn’t stop at high quality beans but is also down to the barista and enjoy extending their passion for coffee into barista training.

We are excited to feature Wogan Coffee in the club this week with two of their varieties:

CAFE FEMENINO
This single origin coffee is grown in Peru solely by women farmers in the Cecanor co-operative. It is a grade 1 coffee grown at 1300-1800m and has a rich body, with fairly bright acidity. Tasting notes of Milk chocolate, blackcurrant jam & battenburg cake.

FINCA LA BASTILLA
Recently rewarded a Cup of Excellence, this Nicaraguan coffee is in the top 3% of all speciality coffees entered. It is a single origin grown in volcanic soils, deep in a mountainous natural reserve at 1250-1450m. Medium-light roasted brings tasting notes of Green Apple, Orange & Custard Creams.
